Key features include:
  • Practical coaching and invaluable advice on all aspects of the sport from one of the world's top bowlers
  • Unique stop-action photographic sequences
  • Over 160 photographs and diagrams, most in full colour
  • Easy to follow spread-by-spread presentation
  • Highlighted hints and tips from Tony Allcock to help every aspiring bowler improve their game

Remarkably, at least three other versions of this book were published, all in hardback and differing only in the appearance of their covers. Version one has two gilt-coloured metal protectors to the front cover's free corners with title and owner's initials in gold-foil blocking, while version two is one of 'The Complete Bowler'* series and, like version one, has similar metal protectors to its front cover and title in gold-foil blocking. Version three is plainer with covers in colours of bottle green and terra cotta.

*Other books in 'The Complete Bowler' series include the Bowls Handbook and Register of Play.
